Here’s one of the easiest organizing wins there is: expired things.
No decisions about whether to keep or donate. No sentimental attachment. No wondering if you’ll use it someday. Expired means done. Out it goes.
And yet most of us have more expired things lurking than we realize.
Try this:
Pick just one category today. Don’t try to do all of them at once:
- Pantry: canned goods, spices, condiments, grains
- Medicine cabinet: medications, vitamins, first aid supplies
- Fridge door: sauces, dressings, jams
- Makeup and skincare: anything past its prime
- Coupons, gift cards, or certificates with expiration dates

One category. Real space. Easy win.
